| I am writing from the Mtv show True Life, which follows young people who lead lives that most people do not. Right now we are trying to cast for True Life: I'm Supporting My Family. We are interested in extraordinary situations, and people who will really make America aware of what they do to make ends meet, and to still maintain their own lives, or if they are not able to maintain their own lives because of it. We feel very passionate about not exploiting anyone but to really share their story. If you know of anyone who might fit this mold, please let me know. I've attached the casting notice below.
CASTING NOTICE
Do your parents count on you to help them make ends meet? Are you the major Breadwinner in your family? Do you have to balance out long days at school with multiple jobs? Have you had to drop out of school because you need to make money for your family? Do you spend all of your free time working? Do you feel like you have taken on a parental role in your family? If so, MTV wants to hear how you do it.
If you appear to be between the ages of 17 and 28 and want to share your story with us, email supportingmyfamily@mtvstaff.com with all the details of your situation. Please be sure to include your name, location, phone number and photo if possible. |
