NORTH BUFFALO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
The North Buffalo Community Development Corporation, a not-for-profit agency in Buffalo, NY, was established in 1976 to develop human service programs. The overall goal is to enhance and upgrade the quality of life for all residents and to afford the community advocacy and opportunities. The North Buffalo CDC offers a variety of different programs and special events for all age groups.
AGENCY NEWS
•The North Buffalo CDC is seeking members for our Corporation. Beginning November 1st, the NBCDC will hold a membership drive. Anyone who wishes to become a member of the Corporation can do so by stopping at the center and filling out an application. You must be at least 18 years of age and resident of the North Buffalo area. There is a one-time fee of $3.00. For more information, please call 874-6133.
•The North Buffalo CDC Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006. The meeting will be held at the center, commencing at 6:30 p.m.
•Bake Sale-The staff of the North Buffalo CDC will be holding a bake sale on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Goodies will consist of homemade pies, cookies, cupcakes, special breads, and much, much more. Proceeds will be used for our human services programs.
•Daily Numbers-The Board of Directors and staff of the North Buffalo CDC are selling Daily Number tickets. The ticket is $15.00 and is valid January 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006. Please call 874-6133 to purchase your ticket. The prizes to be given are:
$25 awarded daily $40 every Saturday $50 every Sunday $75 Valentine^s Day, St. Patrick^s Day, Mother^s Day, Father^s Day
